-
Print, cut and score
Print at 100 percent and measure the 50 mm ruler. Cut all seven pieces once. Open the seven 1.3 mm rose holes with adult assistance. Score dashed folds; do not cut them. Vessel base is 48 x 36 mm; walls are 44 mm tall.
-
Close the vessel corners
Raise all four walls inward 90 degrees from the base. Fold the four 5 mm corner tabs inward 90 degrees and glue inside the adjoining walls. Keep the top open and hold the base square and flat until dry. The 36 mm wide end on the right is the spout wall.
-
Assemble the inclined square spout
S1 and S2 are lateral faces; S3 is the longer lower face and S4 the shorter upper face. Fold the long 3 mm tabs on S1/S2 inward 90 degrees. Glue S3 and S4 over these tabs with edges flush, forming a 10 x 10 mm tube. Align the square distal ends; leave the skew root tabs and distal tabs free. Let all four seams dry.
-
Fit the sprinkler rose
Fold all four 4 mm distal tabs outward 90 degrees into one plane normal to the spout. Center the 22 x 22 mm clipped-corner rose on the 10 x 10 mm tube end and glue its rear face onto these tabs. The seven holes sit inside the tube opening. Dry fully before mounting.
-
Mount the spout flush to the wall
On the 36 mm wide end wall, center the root at 18 mm across and 20 mm above the base. Fold the lateral root tabs inward 90 degrees across the opening; fold the lower root tab downward through 55 degrees and upper root tab upward through 125 degrees. All root tabs must lie in the vertical wall plane. Glue their rear faces to the outside wall: root extends from 13.90 to 26.10 mm above the base; upper/lower tabs extend another 4 mm. The tube rises 35 degrees and its centerline projects 40.96 mm horizontally. Support the rose by hand until the joint grabs, then let it dry without load.
-
Fold and attach the arch
H1 is 8 mm wide. From its 8 mm lower foot, the segment lengths are 8, 14, 14.14, 14, 14.14, 14 and 16 mm. Mountain-fold the first joint through 90 degrees; valley-fold the remaining joints through 45, 45, 45, 45 and 90 degrees in the opposite direction to make the arch. Center it on the opposite 36 mm end wall. Glue the first foot from 12 to 20 mm above the base; the arch projects 24 mm behind that wall and reaches 54 mm high. Glue only the last 6 mm of the final leg onto the wall from height 38 to 44 mm; its upper 10 mm remains above the rim. Hold both feet until set and dry upright. Display empty on a level surface; lift only by the base.
Notes
The 3D model shows each piece in its finished, idealized shape; the exploded view only spreads the pieces apart. It is not a paper-physics simulation: curved shapes are forming guides, not exact physical folding or proof of developability, and intermediate fold shapes are not supplied.
- Dry decorative miniature only: cannot hold or pour water. The vessel wall remains closed behind the spout; the rose holes are ornamental.
- Original rigid-panel construction. All tabs and the handle feet are included in the matching flat and assembled meshes. No hidden supports.
- The spout axis rises 35 degrees. Its 10 x 10 mm square section has a 50 mm nominal axial length; skew-cut roots sit flush against the vertical vessel.
- Zero paper/glue thickness is idealized; glued layers share contact planes. The handle is a faceted arch, not a stretched smooth curve. Carry the model by its base, never its handle or spout.
- Physical printing, cutting and assembly verification pending.
